Qualifier early access
At least 50 coins per qualifier, half by category placing and half by a random draw among finishers present at the awards; winners may register for the 200 or 100. Crusher in the Tushar, Heathland Gravel and The Rad Dirt Fest have already run; Big Sugar Gravel (17 Oct 2026, 100-mile finishers) and Sea Otter Classic Gravel (April 2027) remain.
Charity place
Three partners: Life Time Foundation, Chris Klug Foundation and the American Cancer Society (DetermiNation). Limited places, first come first served; you pay or fundraise with the charity, which then gives you a registration code. LTF's 2027 athlete sign-up and CKF's 2027 team (a few 100- and 200-mile spots left) are open now.
Club / member allocation
Members of Life Time gyms with at least six months of Club-Access membership before the lottery can enter a week early. The organizer says this gives early-access or guaranteed entry for the XL, 200 and 100, but does not spell out how it applies to this lottery.
Lottery / ballot
One free application per person for the XL, 200, 100, 50 or 25; card details are taken up front and charged only if you are selected, and duplicate applications are all voided. Multi-time 200 finishers close to the 1,000 Mile Club get some consideration. 2027 fees are not yet published (2026 ranged from $75 for the 25 to $345 for the 200).
Club / member allocation
Riders who logged 10+ volunteer hours at the 2026 race (friends and family can donate hours) get an emailed code to register without the lottery. New this cycle, the first 100 volunteers at the Life Time Big Sugar Classic who pick the Unbound option also qualify.
Qualifier early access
For 2025, the 44 elites named to Life Time's Grand Prix pro series got guaranteed 200-mile entries; we haven't found how 2027 series places will work. Other elites must pass an elite vetting application, which by itself does not guarantee a place.
Tour-operator package
Package from the event's official coaching partner: three months of coaching (from March) plus a personal link to register for the 2027 race at any distance. Limited and first come, first served; the coaching part is non-refundable.
Tour-operator package
The organizer's own four-day camp in Emporia on 8-11 April 2027 with guided rides, seminars and meals; the Camp + Entry option guarantees a place in the XL, 200 or 100.
