Lottery / ballot
Entries are drawn by lottery, with odds reported to be far lower for international applicants. Exact dates and fees for 2027 have not been confirmed from an official page.
Club / member allocation
Members who complete nine qualifying races and one volunteer shift get guaranteed entry. From the 2028 race, a new eligibility drawing (applications 17–29 Sept 2026) decides who can join, so it does not affect 2027 entry.
Qualifying time
Entry by age- and gender-graded time standard, using times from approved races only. Standards and eligible races can change between editions, so check the official page.
Charity place
Guaranteed places through official charity partners, in return for a fundraising minimum plus the entry fee. Amounts and partner list for 2027 not confirmed.
Qualifier early access
Drawn entrants who completed a 26.2-mile run in one activity earn a paid guaranteed place in the 2027 race. The application window has closed.
